Tulsa Studio Rental

Most photographers don’t have their own studio because they office from home or only photograph as a hobby. I’ve been a photographer most of my life (professionally for 13 years) and only recently opened my own studio space. It is through knowing the need of photographers that I have built my space and with great heart, open it up for use to other local photographers in the Tulsa area. I understand what its like to book a client and then have to figure out a last minute solution to a bad weather issue. I also know what it’s like to try and shoot in a client’s home when their space is small or lighting is lacking. There are very few indoor rental options for photographers in Tulsa.

My space is only 580 square feet, but it offers everything you could possibly need in a shoot. My husband and I painstakingly repainted the space, built the shooting wall, tore out the carpet and laid down a plank floor, we repainted it, decorated it and are now in the process of building out a hair and make up station where a professional make up artist and an amazing hair stylist will work from. Hair, make up and upscale portrait studio all in one convenient spot off 4th and Main St in downtown Tulsa.

Because it is my personal studio and its being shared by a hair and make up artist, rental times are limited. Please check with me if you’re interested in using the space or including a hair or make up artist on your shoot (for an additional fee).  Rentals are by the hour or recurring monthly options are available for creatives who will need regular use of the space. Fall Mini Sessions

Fall Mini Sessions

Only 6 Spots Available!

30 minute session, 3 take home images and discount on holiday cards!

Just one event to rule them all...... Instead of offering many Fall Mini Sessions throughout town, I am offering just one mini event this Fall! You can, of course, still book a FULL session (60 minutes) any other time for any place around town.

Q: What's a mini event?

It's a rare opportunity to book a session with me for a discount. I don't regularly offer discounts for any reason, especially in the Fall, so this is rare, indeed! I will be at one location photographing families in shorter timeframes, back to back, so it's important not to be late.

Q: How many people can I bring in my group?

This event works best for groups of 6 or less as large crowds often take more time to pose and shoot. If you have a larger group, please contact me to schedule a full session.

Q: Can I bring pets?

Absolutely! This is at a public place, so please be sure to put your pets on a leash (as required by law) and bring a pet handler to help things go smoothly.

Q: When, where & how much?

Gilcrease Museum/Stuart Park. Sunday, October 8th from 4-7PM. $125 | See the link for more details and booking: Click here.

Q: What's the discount?

My typical 1 hour session is $125 and only covers my time and talent. This shorter session is the same price BUT it includes your choice of 3 retouched medium sized digital images from your final online proofing gallery of 10. My typical session doesn't include any prints, files or products. Regular value of this session is $150 due to the price of digital files included.

Q: How big will the images be?

A medium sized digital file will be 1000 pixels on the longest side at 300 dpi. This is generally sufficient for printing at home up to 5x7 and includes a print release.

Q: Can I purchase larger files or prints if I want them?

Absolutely! There's no minimum and I definitely won't prevent you from ordering all that you'd like after the session. Please note that a full-sized large/high resolution digital file is included with the purchase of any print 8x10 or larger.

Q: Whats the turnaround time on seeing the final images?

7-14 days is the anticipated turnaround time before your gallery link is delivered for proofing and image selection.

Q: Your website says that holiday cards are $89 but they're 50% off per set in this event. Can I get that pricing if I book a session for some other time?

Nope. This is a special offering for this event only. This pricing also applies to additional sets if you book for this event and need more than 25 cards.

Caldwell Family | Tulsa Photographer

Caldwell Family | Tulsa Photographer

Welcome back, guys and gals!

I recently had a fabulous session with the Caldwell family at Stuart Park & Gilcrease Museum Gardens. Their family consists of Caleb, his gorgeous wife Taylor (I think she looks like a movie star!) and their two adorable fur babies. The last time they admittedly tried to do professional portraits was their wedding, so having been married a few years they though it was time for an update, and I am sure glad they did!

We met at Stuart Park and worked our way next door to the Gilcrease Gardens. I love shooting there because of the versatility of looks we can get in camera; between casual & romantic look of the pond at Stuart and formal/classic gardens at Gilcrease, we were able to accommodate a wide range of looks. It’s one of the reasons I love being a Tulsa photographer!

Moving to Downtown Tulsa! | Big Announcements

Moving to Downtown Tulsa! | Big Announcements

There are so many absolutely wonderful things in the work right now! First, Trademark Photos is moving it’s studio to Downtown Tulsa! That’s right, our glamorous new spot will be located on the 7th floor of the Reunion Center Building on 4th and Main, right in the heart of downtown. I fell in love with the space the moment I saw it and have dreamed of not much else since. I can’t wait to show you all once the build out is completed!

Features of the new space:

  • it has the most delicious natural light
  • offers ample space for studio lit shoots
  • doubles as my office, editing space and it will also serve as a great meeting space for client consultations and post-session reveals!
  • We have been given permission to shoot on the rooftop for an amazing cityscape view and
  • We have also been told we can photograph on the fire escapes…..so many possibilities for fashion editorial!
  • There is going to be a hair and make up station inside the studio (we have two pros in house you can choose from)
  • Outside, we are in the middle of the Art Deco District which offers amazing backdrops on its own within walking distance
  • We are three blocks away from the famed Blue Dome District and Guthrie Green areas for more shooting options

Also, I am bringing in a second photographer to share the space with and teach. He’s been in to photography for about 10 years and will likely be assisting me on shoots from time to time.

**Squeeeeee!!!** I can’t contain my excitement! It’s been a battle to get to this point, but I couldn’t be more excited that its finally happening! Say hello to the newest Tulsa photographer! 🙂

Stay tuned for more updates on our Instagram account (click one of the videos above and follow). We will be posting more as it’s completed <3

Churchill Family | Claremore, OK

Churchill Family | Claremore, OK

Welcome back, everyone!

I recently had a fabulous session with the Churchill family. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. Their two-year old twins were so full of energy and antics! I had a hard time keep up with their cuteness 🙂

We met at the RSU Nature Trail. I love shooting at the RSU Nature Trail because its so simple and beautiful but not crowded.

It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of Genie:

“I wasn’t sure what to bring, so we brought some options,” she says. Solid advice! Best you have too much than not enough, right?! 😉

Okay, on to pictures of the Churchill family!

Cherie & Lilly | Lookout Mountain, CO

Cherie & Lilly | Lookout Mountain, CO

Hi, everyone!

Oh how I just adore the family I’m blogging about today. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve photographed Lilly’s birth and now for her second birthday! I truly can’t believe how much she has grown and changed since I first met Lilly and her mom, Cherie.

When Cherie called me to take their photos again, I immediately began counting down the days to our session!

And as for the day of the shoot, I had a blast! Many photographers find two year old’s a challenge, but I find them fun! It’s a great excuse to act like a kid again…..Grandma & Grandpa even came along to help out. They had a pretty great time, too.

Cherie thought everything out ahead of time and had multiple outfits for Lilly as well as some fun props (who doesn’t LOVE glitter?!)

Okay, enough text. Check out the wonderful Tschida family!

Harper Everist | Newborn Session

Harper Everist | Newborn Session

Hello beautiful picture lovers!

Today I have a real treat for you and it comes in the form of a newborn baby named Harper. Hold on to your socks – this little lady is so cute she may blow them right off!

It feels like only a few months ago I was photographing Sarah & Tyler’s first newborn. I can’t believe it’s already been two years since that session! I remember when I first met Tyler & Sarah at Red Rocks for their maternity session, too! I couldn’t believe how perfect they were for each other.

Because our last photo shoot went so well, I was delighted when they called me up to schedule photos with their adorable little Harper.

Anyway, I am beyond honored that they asked me to work with them again and to photograph little Harper Phoenix Everist. As you can see from the photographs below, she is an ultra sweetheart and was a joy to work with. Check it out for yourself!

The Rothe Family | Littleton, CO

The Rothe Family | Littleton, CO

Hi again, everyone!

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so wonderful to work with. That’s true of my session with the Rothe family, too!

I met up with them during my trip to Denver in May at South Valley Park in Littleton, Colorado and the weather was ah-mazing for photo-taking. There was a little fear in the air beforehand because there was rain in the forecast and no room to reschedule, but all turned out great! It was the perfect temperature with a light breeze and the clouds looked awesome in our shots! While the weather was fine and the scenery was nice, it was the Rothe family that made this shoot such a treat.

Last time I photographed them (a few years back), they were a family of four and their littlest at the time (Avarie) was about the age of our youngest star in this shoot: Miss Violet. It was wonderful to see how they’ve grown <3

This family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. Alisa, Chris, Em, Avarie & Violet are lucky to have each other 🙂

Check out the photos below!
